Birds Give Back

Est. 2019

student writing note on wall of thank yous

A single day in the year focused on the impact Redbirds can make when we combine our philanthropic dollars.

Birds Give Back has a unique theme each year along with a set goal of donors and dollars to reach.

One Day for Change

  • Challenge accepted

Birds Give Back is Illinois State University’s very own annual day of giving when Redbirds come together in a university-wide effort to inspire alumni, faculty/staff, students, parents, friends, and the community to give to their passion at Illinois State. Through giving challenges, interactive leader boards, giving day ambassadors, and some good-natured fun, participants support a favorite college, department, organization, or scholarship.

Each year new goals are set in donor and dollar amounts for Redbirds to unlock and set records. The day's primary purpose is to encourage participation and the importance of philanthropy as every gift makes a difference no matter the size.
